It seems, picture for new bootlogo is little bit bigger, than DMM machines know - cca 40pixels bottom is black row only. Could be size little bit reduced ? (DM800SE - OE3).

You could also ask dmm if they will change their drivers so the bootlogo does fit... There is some of unlogical magic limitation there, just like the kernel size, that limits the size and therefor also the quality of the bootlogo's... Other boxes can handle this!

So no, Dmm users have to live with it

It's a shame - users see PLI logo and nope text: "what you are not seeing now is made by wrong DMM drivers"

it's a shame that otherwise non-DMM users should have to live with a less quality bootlogo

Ok, I wrote to dmm's forum ... But i do not know, if it is as black hole...

 

PS: you did not understand me - I wrote about it, that when users see black row on screen, then they in most cases will tell - bug in PLi.

They do not tell: wrong Dmm's drivers.

showiframe.c is available for your changes ...

And there is no real problem with kernel size either as people tell you.
