When OpenWebif streams to VLC I notice the following URL

http://192.168.0.5:8...:11A0000:0:0:0:

IP ADDRESS of VU+ Solo2 is 192.168.0.5 with on PORT :8001 obviously.

Will somebody go through and explain the rest of the URL step by step please.

The last part is a serviceref. It's a more or less opaque identifier for a channel.

Maybe @hdp160 wants a description on service reference fields?

This helps?

# SID:NS:TSID:ONID:STYPE:UNUSED(channelnumber in enigma1)
# X X X X D D

# REFTYPE:FLAGS:STYPE:SID:TSID:ONID:NS:PARENT_SID:PARENT_TSID:UNUSED
# D D X X X X X X X X

I specifically did not explain the internals of the serviceref, because you're not supposed to do anything with it, being "opaque". I doubt whether they're any use outside enigma anyway.

# REFTYPE:FLAGS:STYPE:SID:TSID:ONID:NS:PARENT_SID:PARENT_TSID:UNUSED
# D D X X X X X X X X

This is exactly what I was looking for, thanks for the explaination.

I always like to know why something happens, I have no need to probe further but at least now I know.
