Hello,

I've installed the ocram shd transparent white picons on my VU+ Duo2 (OpenPLi 4) and I've setup to show them in LCD4Linux-Setup. I also made a softlink /usr/share/enigma2/picon(s) to /picon(s).

The picons for SD and HD channels are shown correctly in the UI but on the LCD they are only shown for SD channels. I've found no information about this problem so i hope someone can help me here.

I'm using Astra 19.2 E. I also tried this with the hd and sd ocram packages - also not working for HD. And i've also deleted everytime the cache.

This is being discussed already, the problem is in the fact that this is a DMM plugin, which doesn't use the OpenPLi renderer, so it doesn't have a fallback for the service reference service type.

It's being looked at.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

My version is already from december 9, but I'll keep updating it.

So this is a LCD-Plugin problem, if I understand this correctly?

Yes.

The OpenPLi picon renderer will check the service reference, and if it doesn't start with 1:0:1 (like most HD channels, which start with 1:0:19), it will fallback to 1:0:1 and see if that exists. Which is why it works in the skin.

LCD4Linux doesn't do that, so it checks for 1:0:19:..., hits a not-found, and stops.

That's the reason I suggested to install a version after december 6th, updating on the box would have done nothing, glad to see it sorted.

Hey!

I've tried to install the latest ipk manually since the OpenPLi feed is not up to date yet. I would like to install the picons on the USB device I've plugged into my VU+ Uno. But during the installation (menu -> plugins -> software management -> install local extension)  I cannot select any target device, so the picons are installed in the internal flash. If I use the feed to install the outdated plugin I can choose between USB, HDD or internal flash.

Is there a way to install the ipk onto the usb device?
