I have a Vu+Duo, Openpli 3.0, kernel 3.1.1, enigma 2013-12-10 and just installed the BlackAlu-Coolman skin, but it failed to work correctly.

The menus appear to come up on screen, but all the text/options is missing from them... anyone any ideas? :huh:

It meant there was no easy way to go back to a working skin using the STB/remote.

However, in /etc/enigma2, there's a file called settings.  You can edit this file in vi, just look towards the end for something like

...

config.ParentalControl.configured=true
config.skin.primary_skin=BlackAlu-Coolman-Mod/skin.xml
config.audio.volume=60

...

and change it to (for example)

...

config.ParentalControl.configured=true
config.skin.primary_skin=PLi-HD/skin.xml
config.audio.volume=60

...

Perhaps this might help someone who gets stuck with a similar problem.

Kind regards.

YoungJules
