Hello,

we are frequently confronted with questions of Xtrend Open PLi users, which encounter troubles during the installation of the MediaPortal 5.x. ssues were often caused by the required package python-mechanize, which seems not to be available from the feed.

So would it be possible to put it on the Open PLi Feed? Thanks a lot.

Note: If it is already there in the meanwhile, please ignore this thread - personally I am using another image, where it indeed is available.

Kind regards

Hounce

I'll see if we can activate it.

python-mechanize is not part of oe-core or meta-oe, so we'll need a bitbake recipe. Which was probably used to build that IPK, so it appears to exist somewhere...

Note that binary ipks are useless, it's the source we need!
