Thank you.

I had found that but it does not help very much...

Maybe make your question more specific (as in "how do I do ... ?")?

Thank you.

Well, I hope that my initial question is clear and specific, is there a tutorial to use a positioner ?

And the answer seems to be no.

To be more specific,  how do I program the position of a satellite ?

I have gone to http://openpli.org/wiki/E2Positioner but I am stopped here.

That is what I mean. If you're looking for a manual, and nobody knows of one (I don't), you won't get any answers.

Instead, there may be people that still use rotors, and may be of some help, now that the question is "how do I set one up".

I personally never owned one, so I can't help you further. I will change the subject to reflect the new question.

Well, in fact positionners seem to be disappearing... Why ?

Because usually all can be found on 1 postion maybe ?

That depends. Look e.g. in the UK, where you can find very many positioners.

But I agree with WW here. The answer to the question 'is there a manual' is a simple 'no'.

The answer to the question 'how do I obtain ..........' is most likely given very soon.

Thank you all.

I found that the problem is deeper and certainly hardware.
