After updating a friend's Vu+ Duo² today, I kept getting old bouquets added to the favourites again and again.

Even
init 4
removing the bouquets from bouquets.tv
shutdown -r now
didn't get rid of them, they kept re-appearing.

Only moving the userbouquet.*.tv for those unwanted bouqets away from /etc/enigma2 kept the box from re-adding them.

Did you add some sort of artificial stupidity to E2 which makes it auto-add any bouquet it can find?

Hi,

I only know of one bouquet which reappears automatically it is called "Favorites (TV)" I think. I use it for test channels. How did you remove the bouquets?

ciao

I just deleted their line in bouquets.tv

E.g. in order to remove "Kinderkram", I would remove this line
#SERVICE: 1:7:1:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:FROM BOUQUET "userbouquet.kinder.tv" ORDER BY bouquet

from my /etc/enigma2/bouquets.tv with this content:
#NAME User - bouquets (TV)
#SERVICE: 1:7:1:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:FROM BOUQUET "userbouquet.favourites.tv" ORDER BY bouquet
#SERVICE: 1:7:1:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:FROM BOUQUET "userbouquet.bef001.tv" ORDER BY bouquet
#SERVICE: 1:7:1:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:FROM BOUQUET "userbouquet.iptv_XXX.tv" ORDER BY bouquet
#SERVICE: 1:7:1:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:FROM BOUQUET "userbouquet.kinder.tv" ORDER BY bouquet
#SERVICE: 1:7:1:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:FROM BOUQUET "userbouquet.sd.tv" ORDER BY bouquet

This is new functionality and allows you to use your own favorite bouquet next to an installed settingslist.

To remove the bouquet you can choose:

1) Remove it from within enigma. The bouquet will get ".del" appended to its filename.

2) Or remove the bouquetfile from the /etc/enigma2 directory.

Did you add some sort of artificial stupidity to E2 which makes it auto-add any bouquet it can find?

We'd like to call it artificial intelligence ;).
