Volume adjustment tool in Openpli?

Pade2204's Photo Pade2204 2 Sep 2014

Hi guys!

I am looking for a Volume adjustment tool like there is on OpenATV 4.0

I can mark a channel in the channelslist, and then set this channel to +/- XX amount.  Then when I zap, it automatic sets the volume up or down when I come to a loud or silent channel.

THis is very handy, but the same function is not in OpenPli or in download list!

Anyone know how to manually install this function, or maybe it comes with an update of OpenPli ?

THANKS GUYS!

Why do you need this? In fact you can only made some channels more silent with it...

@Pade2204, you need to find a plugin automaticvolumeadjustment.
I do not know whether he is in the plugin feed, but on sourceforge enigma2-plugins git he is.

This is what is needed.

For example on the 36.0E is HD channels, which has only AC3 or DTS audio track, which is quieter.
I am using own simplified version of automaticvolumeadjustment (https://github.com/O...e/src/plugin.py), which just set a higher volume of these channels, and automatically all channels have the same volume.

But in original automaticvolumeadjustment you can adjust automatically, or manually, separately for each channel.

The plugin cannot set a higher volume at all... Escpecialle not when it is ac3 and digitally forwarden... When it makes it loudee then all other channels are more silent.. Slightly influencing the quality of sound for all the other channels... This is just my meaning... ;)

Your simplified plugin looks nice.... :D

I am using only analog sound, so I do not know, but I understand, that it has been digitally forwarden it is not necessary.
In any case, this is an individual thing, and I think that it should not be included in enigma. If necessary, anyone can use additional plugins.
