I need some advice about the MMC under PLi on Zgemma

Long story short I manage a H.2S remotely (over 3000km) and it was all good until one day the SD just died (Im not getting into it.. could be well made fake SanDisk)

I bought new genuine 64GB SanDisk and shipped it over.. In dmesg I could see the card connected but it didn't mount it.. I can't find it under /dev either and beside that there is no HDD section in the menu (so I could format it etc) After reboot I cant see any logs (dmesg) about it any more

so I'm stuck now.. any advices?

Maybe, first format it on PC.

just an update (didn't have time but finally got it working)

I used fdisk to format it than mounted and the box picket it up

I didn't know the settings>>system>>HDD is not visible if HDD is not installed.. as soon as the box found the mmc the HDD option showed up
