Last scanned bouquet
Abu Baniaz 5 mrt 2017
What file creates/orders the services in the last scanned bouquet?
Reason for asking is that the order seems to be random. It is not in the order that the channels were scanned in. Not even the reverse order. Would it be possible to sort them alphabetically?

It seems that:
In first place it is the "data" services then the TV channels are in the service reference order.

Not even that. I attach bouquet for 28.2 scan.
We sort for orbital position, so should be possible for last scanned too. Could someone point out which file is responsible for the bouquet please?

Hi,
Correct I should have mentioned that it seems to be sorted by service reference per TP.
Here you show an exemple of a full scan. So every TP is sorted by service reference individually but not the whole one.
But I don't see the reason why you want to sort this file out?
Can you explain which benefits you expect from this?
This file is changed after every scan and is just a very interesting informational file but the goal is not to use it has a "real" favorite to watch TV from.

I am interested to know which system file is responsible for the last scanned bouquet too

But it’s only just a bouquet
for instance dose not work in OE 2.5 images and so on
What’s the system file which effect this bouquet
Is there any specific ways for another images ?

The answer we provide here refers to OpenPLi image.
For other images you should ask on their respective forums.

p.s. There is no such thing as an "OE 2.5" image.
The term "OE 2.5" says something about the Yocto branch being used to compile the OS, it doesn't say anything about Enigma.

Nobody didn’t answer the question in the right way
Just playing with words

Looks like a fine answer to me.
How can you expect us to know what others do, how other images work? You don't even mention which "other image".
If you own a BMW, you go to the BMW garage, not to Toyota...

OE 2.5 is DreamOS for Dreamboxes DM9x0, OE 2.6 is for Dreambox One, that is totally different, we are still on OE 2.0 if you want to know wich services are new found after the scan, just press green twice in channel selection (for Open* images)
WanWizard 4 feb 2020
Still it is a pretty useless term, as you can run today's Enigma on OE 1.8, and an Enigma from 2010 on OE 2.6.
It's a bit like discussing MS-Excel functionality by refering to the Windows version used...

OpenDreambox 2.5 (internally named OE 2.5) is krogoth which is Yocto 2.1
OpenDreambox 2.6 (OE 2.6) is pyro which is Yocto 2.3
Also people referring OE2.0 as something used by e.g. OpenPLi etc. are totally wrong as also OE2.0 was only an internal numbering by Dream, which was Yocto 1.5
WanWizard 4 feb 2020
They get sillier by the minute...
They abbriviate OpenDreambox with OE, while OE is the abbriviation of OpenEmbedded, which in turn is linked to Yocto.
OpenDreambox 2.6 = Yocto "Pyro" = OE 2.3 (and not OE 2.6 !).
Understandable that no one understands it and is confused.
