Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Same question applies, why would you want that?

 

Bootloaders are just software, so they can always be updated. But it is rare that a vendor releases an updated bootloader, I've only seen it a few times.

I hope vu+ will release new drivers for vu zero4k.. especially for tuner signal.

The best image for me is openpli and i have a lot of receivers with openpli in them!!!

What image are you using at the moment? 6.2 will contain the latest drivers.

those abbreviations

boot loader -> CFE, Common Firmware Environment (Computer Front End?)

FPGA https://de.wikipedia...able_Gate_Array

FPGA on Enigma2 boxes -> parallel use of CI Slots (at the moment only possible on VU Boxes)

6.2 latest but the vu+ dont yet release tuner signal fix problem

i have good motor good dish 1.10 good lnb high gain

in hotbird 13/astra 19.2/and eutelsat 9e almost all channels has 100& signal.

It is incorect! Vu+ zero4k driver issue

What is your opinion Mod? and other persons?

Nothing we can do about it, we use whatever we get from the manufacturer.

 

But as far as I know, there are no more issues outstanding for the Zero 4K with the latest drivers.

i am very very unhappy and sad

Its inpossible for a receiver to have 100% signal(and not db) in all channles almost

:( :( :(

is it possible to see db signal in zero 4k?

You shouldn't look at those values, they are calculated, driver specific, and meaningless.

 

A box with 80% could easily have a better signal than one reporting 100%. The only thing relevant is a stable picture and a BER of 0.
