Separate cables connected to both tuners? Tuners not configured as looped-through? Are channel names greyed-out when you hve a recording active?

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Tuners configured to MODE: simple  single satellite , when I noticed that can't record I disable tuner A  and left  just tuner B configured , check both cables unfortunately no signal.

Looks like tuner B has an issue. Hardwareissue?

No it is not a driver issue I think that it is a configuration problem.

@leon100,

Please describe your antenna, LNB and cable that come to your STB. So don't describe what you have setup in your configuration but you have physically installed.

How many LNBs do you have on your antenna?

How many exit have you on each LNB?

Do you have a DiseqC?

Do you use a motor?

How many cable are coming from the antenna/LNBs/DiseqC to your Zgemma?

Based on this we can help you to properly configure your tuner and explain you the limitation of your setup.

Ok i think zgemma H5.2s series with Si2167  B tuner have some issue with scanning working on some frequencies :

Twin LNB , 2 cables connected directly to zgemma cables changed(swapped) during test same symptoms on both: Satellite installation check and confirmed working correctly on 2 different satellite meter (HORIZON, DR 1000)

1) when scan tuner A box founding 913 channels

2) when scan tuner B box founding only 1983

(scanned sattellite is Hot Bird 13E)

Conclusion:

I have 3x zgemma h5.2s with same symptoms TUNER B Si2167 defective wont work on some frequencies tested on OpenPLi 4

Please if anybody own this box please check this issue

Thanks for your test and report, so you confirm that the bug is still present in OpenPLi 6.2 (OpenPLi 4 is no longer maintained, so please focus your test and bug report on 6.2).

Ok I can see I been ignored, just wondering why ? I fought forum is for asking questions and helping develop team to find the bugs etc.

Newest release doesn't fix issue with Si2167  B tuner on zgemma H5.2S having no signal on half of transponders (confirmed software issue problem not exist on different images)

Thanks

Please clarify this point, you complaint about a problem on Tuner B but in your exemple Tuner B founds more channels than Tuner A.

So there is something wrong in your bug report.

Do you know which quadrant(s) is/are missing?

Vertical High / Vertical Low / Horizontal High / Horizontal Low

Or can you give us a few sample of missing TP (or channels) on Hotbird with the scan on tuner B?

If not please provide a lamedb scanned from tuner A (with delete before scan) so with the 1983 channels and also the lamedb scanned from tuner B (with delete before scan)  so with only the 913 channels, so we can check which TPs / Quadrant are missing.

Thanks for your help.

The OE-Alliance images and OpenPLi 6.2-release contain the same drivers for the H5, so that can't be it.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Indeed I don't think that it is a driver bug, so problem is elsewhere...
