Does it show in the dmesg output (check via the commandline, or menu - info - about - Yellow button?
It's not an issue issue, my internal disk works fine in my 10K.
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

My ET10K HD would sometimes go missing (usually a reboot or 2 (from deep standby) after flashing for some reason).
I found that powering it off at the mains for 5 minutes prevented it from happening.
It's not happened for a year or so now, possibly since a kernel upgrade (I'm also using ViX, so not sure if the kernel is the same on PLi.)

The kernel version is dictated by the drivers, so if the drivers are the same, the kernel is the same.
