And why you not support 9xx series box's???
Why Merlin, NewEnigma and other team support?

That is explained 1000+ times here.... main reason is that dmm starts going closed source...

The teams you mentioned above are using the closed source enigma2 binary blob from DMM... They are actually a DMM image + a 'blue button'....

So you do not expect any changes from your team for 9xx series DM?

FYI:

https://openpli.org/...ultimedia-stbs/

News from almost 5 years ago.. 2013/10/21

OpenPLi stops actively supporting Dream Multimedia STB’s

With the decision of Dream Multimedia to abandon open source for their STB’s, our motivation for dealing with the consequences of that has dwindled.

This has gotten to the point that we are no longer willing to apply Dream Multimedia specific patches, which is why we do not support their v2 STB hardware.

Because current OpenPLi users with Dream Multimedia STB’s expect support from us, we feel the need to make our position clear.

We have decided that:

– We will stop fixing Dream Multimedia specific bugs for existing DMM boxes;
– We will not support the “v2” series of Dream Multimedia STB hardware, like the 7020HDv2 and 800SEv2;
– We will not support future Dream Multimedia STB hardware they may release;

The Dream Multimedia hardware currently supported by OpenPLi will remain active in our automated build environment, which means images will be generated and feeds will remain available, until we get to a point that this is no longer possible without intervention. At that point, we will effectively stop with all support.

Since OpenPLi is open source and available to anyone, feel free to setup your own build environment, and produce images for Dream Multimedia hardware yourself, “Based on OpenPLi”.

But in between I heard on the nonofficial PLi image for DMM blindscan works....

First do yourself a favor and don't buy nightmarebox ;)

Second build an image using https://github.com/P...etas/pli-extras and enjoy while you can :D

Next time spend your money wisely.

Maybe you should just stop giving comments about things you don't have a clue about.
When you can name one other box with real working hardware blindscan WITHOUT stupid external tools we can talk again ;)
And don't start a opensource discussion as this is nonsense.

@Serjoga
Take my advice and use OpenATV if you want a 95% solution (they have to update their Python code) or a DreamOS image if you want up-to-date 100% solution for blindscan.
And it would also be 100% adaptable for OpenPLi (unofficial).

openpli-6.2-release-dm920-20180602.rootfs.tar.xz from http://www.pli-images.net is safe, tested by me. Quite well made and they have feed also now added. Some disadvantages are and blind scan does not work. Some things could be from there to bring over to meta-dream.

Unfortunately they keep using the name "pli-images", which it clearly isn't, and clearly picked to fool people...

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.

I was just testing what has changed, and whether the Kodi was working or not. The test lasted for several days and I have done it a few times over written, problems have not occured. Wrong name, yes, It's not up to me.
