Hello, i have a problem.

On my Ultimo4k  does not work cloning TV on LCD. For Solo4k working correctly. Is this a software or hardware fault ?. I checked on openPLI and PKT firmware.
I will be grateful for any help

Since the latest drivers there is an issue... They added PIP on the LCD... and since they added it the normal TV tot the LCD does not work anymore... (due to a driver 'issue'). As far I know this is already forwarded to VU+ so we expect this issue will be solved in a next driver release.

It is not an "issue", it's a design choice. So it won't get "solved".

Either choose PiP on TV (default) and the second video decoder's output will go there. Or long press the "TV" button and the second video decoder's output will go to the LCD.

So everything is still possible. Having both PiP  on TV and LCD active at the same time wasn't possible anyway.

Wierd design choice as it limits the feature and I also think there is totally no need for that!

This does also require a kind of if VU then do something else 'patch' in E2 :( as you now can toggle the display also when you have live TV, which should be blocked... All boxes that do offer TV on display offer live TV on display... :(...

I'm still afraid this is an unintended side effect with the idea 'VU' had here....

When this is not possible they should simply 'swap' the display from live to PIP once you activate PIP...

You can even run the Giga 4K with quadpip and TV on LCD, so its a Vu issue

Gigablue Quad 4K & UE 4K
.........FBC Tuners:
------------------> DUR-Line DCR 5-1-8-L4 Multiswitch to 1.5M dish(28.2E)
------------------> Spaun SUS 5581/33 NFA Multiswitch to 80 cm dish(19.2E)
.........DVB-S2X into 90cm dish (27.5W)

Octagon sf8008, AX HD61, Edision Osmio 4K+, Zgemma H9Combo using Legacy ports on multiswitches
Zgemma H9twin & Zgemma H9 C/S mode into Giga4K

Clarification - you can run Pip and TV on LCD with Giga4K ... with quadpip it basically just says quadpip enabled screens ... but no screens.

No, it just works, try it.

The GB solution is less than useful, because you CAN select to have the PiP decoder output on the LCD BUT it won't be scaled to the full size of the LCD, it's just as small as it is would be on TV. Not really useful.
