Willy, I have some channels without epg, see screenshot. Of course I have rebooted the stb and tried to import the epg again but without luck.

Looking at the epgimport.log I see thet the epg for the dutch channels is provided by http://91.121.106.17...ytecNL_Basic.xz

Site is reachable but may contain old epgdata?

My second et10k has the same problem.

Attached Files

2 x ultimo4k (dvb-c fbc + 1 dvb-s2, 8.3r/nb) + een et10k/osmini (geen tuners en dus fallbackclient, nb) met een Synology ds214+ (2 x 6 TB) op DSM 7.1.1 in ziggo oost (voormalig @Home) + A1/A2/A3/HB (TechniSat)

Yes, it contains old data.  See here (including workaround): https://forums.openp...loads-affected/

Ok, epg is fixed. Thanks!

I know that topic but I didn't realize that 91,121.106.172 was the server affected...

Willy,

I've been thinking about introducing some mechanism to detect if the download server is up to date or not, so the import plugin can automatically skip servers with issues, for example a file with a last update timestamp. No work for you (generation can be automated) and no more issues for end-users.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

That will certainly help.

However, the biggest problem is now, that nobody seems to be able to delete the files on the that particular server at the moment.

I cannot acces it, and the webmaster is on holiday.

Also I have no clue what is wrong:

Status: Connecting to 91.121.106.172:21...
Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message...
Error: Could not connect to server
Status: Waiting to retry...

That would suggest an ftp daemon running via xinetd, failing to start the daemon after making the connection.

Nope. I hope for the owner of that server nothing of importance runs on it, not very handy to go on holiday without a backup...

Import the Misc file under general.  Only English EPG.
