Hi

I'm trying to create on another box a network mountpoint to use my Zgemma H5 (with openPLI 6.0) hdd like HDD also on my other box.

The problem is that this other box see my Zgemma with network browser but when I create the mountpoint is impossible to activate.

I have also tryed manually with cifs protocol without success

I make the same with a shared folder on my PC with Windows7 and the mountpoint is created without problem

I think that the creation of network mountpoint fail for a problem on my Zgemma.

Is necessary to install some other file or some particular settings on the Zgemma?

You probably didn't get a response because you don't provide any information.

What is "your other box"? What runs on that box? What have you entered as configuraiton? Do you get any error message? En when you tried it manually?

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.

CIFS for Windows, NFS for Linux, as we all know - I can easily mount locally available shared folders on my NAS in my Zgemma (both are Linux)...

So, you are trying to make available your Zgemma's HDD to other Linux boxes in the local network? Folders on the HDD are shared?

Username and password correct and put in?
