My Vu+ Uno with Openpli 4 records from iptv but stops after a while for unknown reason. I set the Uno to record for 4 hours and it may stop after 1 hour, sometimes 2 hours. Anybody know why this happens?

Hickup in the stream? Disconnect from the server?
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

That may well be but should the Uno stop recording even if this is happening? I set the timer for 240 minutes so I would think it would keep on recording even if there was nothing to record. I have experienced this recording from sat channels -channel stops sending or freezes, but the Uno keeps on recording for the designated time.

You can not compare the two. Streams are processed by gstreamer in software, not by the DVB hardware. If the stream is interrupted, the TCP connection ends, and the gstreamer player ends, there are no automatic retry mechanisms.
Remember, this is a DVB receiver, not an IPTV box, stream processing is an afterthought in the design, not it's main purpose.
