Deep standby = Restart (Solo2)

4wd's Photo 4wd 20 Sep 2018

As title says. Started recently, was on 09\04, updated to 09\17, still the same.
Not done anything to receiver settings. Any hints ?
Thanks.

Found it :o
solo2 was lately connected to monitor through a 4-1 HDMI switch.
When another receiver is connected to the switch (receiver power on, switch input set to solo2), the solo2 does it's restart from deep standby.
Without the switch, or without other receiver connected to switch, all well. So some strange HDMI command jumps around ?

You probably need to fine tune your HDMI-CEC settings.

You can configure on the box to which HMDI command it needs to respond, I think the description says "from TV" but it is from any other device as HDMI-CEC is a bus.

Thanks for replies.

Yes, probably cec related, but can't figure it out. cec off on both units, monitor no cec. Somehow the 2nd receiver with power on passes on some command trough the hdmi switch, even when it's input not selected on the switch (switch set to solo2).

Anyway, it's not a problem just a curiosity. Cure: in current setup, power down 2nd receiver before power down on solo2.
