I has a file (TS Transport Stream MPEG2 file) with a size of 2 GB to copy from location A (PC HDD NTFS) to B (VU+ flash drive EXT3/4). This has failed, as a result only 1.7 MB has been copied. By mistake I then overwritten the same file vice versa from B to A. But because the original file used to be bigger in size the another video data must been existing on that PC hard drive. However i don't know it is posssible to restore that data. (and usable)
So now I have 2 files of 1.7 MB at 2 locations. No (windows) system recovery is active on both disks. Is it still possible to retrieve the other data from the A drive in question? I have not written anything to that hard drive.

Is heb een bestand (TS Transport Stream MPEG2 file) proberen te kopieren van 2 nog wat GB van locatie A naar B. Dis is mislukt, hierdoor is slechts 1,7 MB gekopieerd. Per ongeluk heb ik toen vise versa van B naar A geoverschreven.
Nu heb ik dus 2 bestanden van 1,7 MB op 2 locaties. Op beide schijven is geen systeem herstel actief. Is het nog mogelijk de andere data van de betreffende A schijf terug te halen? Ik heb niets geschreven naar de betreffende schijf.
