the box no longer recognizes any card as it was disabled
the cardreader returning to the previous image everything is ok

I will test your findings later today.
Mijn schotel is een T90 met 10 LNB's. Daarnaast voor de fun nog een draaibaar systeem met een Triax TD 78.
Dreamboxen heb ik niet meer echt actief. Verder heb ik ook nog een een VU+ duo2 met 500Gb harddisk + een VU+ Uno, Zero, Solo 4K, Ultimo 4K, Zero 4K, Uno 4Kse. + ook nog een Xtrend ET7x00. Daarnaast heb ik ook nog diverse andere modellen w.o. een Formuler F4, ET8500, ET7500, Mut@nt 2400HD, Xsarius Fusion HD se en verder nog wel het e.e.a. waarmee op verzoek vanalles wordt getest. Iemand moet het tenslotte doen. 
Los van de eerder genoemde modellen heb ik nog wel een rits aan testsamples als Mut@nt 2400HD, HD60, GB UE4K, GB Trio4K, Maxitec Multibox combo en Twin, Octagon sf8008, sf8008 mini en last but nog least enkele modellen van het Grieks Duitse Edision.
Voor centrale opslag van media gebruik ik een Qnap 219P met tweemaal 2 Tb harddisks + een Synology DS414 met 12 Tb Totale opslag.

I just flashed the RC from today and there it actually doesn't work too. Due to unknown circumstances the Develop build is halted.
This bug might be driver related. Develop of the 23th with the previous drivers still work. I guess your home develop build already has the latest drivers?
I will first report this to our developers to investigate.

They run on the same buildserver, and we needed to do a complete RC rebuild which runs more than 24 hours.
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Did you perform any tests during the past days? I have been in contact with Zgemma but they keep on repeating that their drivers are ok while IMHO the drivers aren't ok.
I tested several scenarios but the reader isn't seen and after several tries Oscam disables the reader(s). In this case just one.
Just out of curiousity I have overwritten the new drivers with the ones from september 18 and now the reader works but still no picture for whatever reason. IMHO this should be working without problems.

Please check that you didn't set the cardmhz parameter to the autodetect value foreseen for mipsel boxes.
I face the same problem, card initialized properly but no decoding on ARM boxes, just because I cut & paste my mipsel setup to ARM box without changing this parameter.

Reason is 2 points:
1. This comes because hiplay is a running process.
You need to remove hi_play.ko first then write the new driver inside the box. When this is done set chmod of hi_play.ko back to 0755.
Reboot the system and you will have picture back.
2. The libraries in /usr/lib/hisilicon are as well update which are to new for the older drivers. You need to overwrite it with old libs file.

This have nothing to do with the card readers having no device nodes in /dev.
* Wavefrontier T90 with 28E/23E/19E/13E via SCR switches 2 x 2 x 6 user bands
I don't read PM -> if you have something to ask or to report, do it in the forum so others can benefit. I don't take freelance jobs.
Ik lees geen PM -> als je iets te vragen of te melden hebt, doe het op het forum, zodat anderen er ook wat aan hebben.

it's not a matter of softcam or oscam settings that work well
here there is another problem the reader is not recognized

Hi to all, sorry for my poor english..
Just bought this decoder and flashed openpli 20190109 .
I can confirm that atr oscam problem is somewhat related to the status of the decoder.
If oscam is started after a reboot the card is not seen anymore. If tou kill and restart oscam while the decoder is in standby from webif the card is seen again and from now no problems till the next full powerdown of the decoder.
Now I try with openpli7 image released today.
Are the drivers updated ?
Thanks for the hard work!
BTW in the openspa distro changelog is written that they have fixed the card detection.
