The Russian files are not provide by us.
The people who put it on the net, just asked us to include their server in the config file.
<source type="gen_xmltv" nocheck="1" channels="http://epg.in.ua/epg/ls.channels.xml.gz"> <description>Linuxsat ExUSSR XMLTV</description> <url>http://epg.in.ua/epg/tvprogram_ua_ru.gz</url> </source>
We cannot do anything on these files.

Ok i understand it. I made a check and it appears their domain (http://epg.in.ua) has been suspended.
I very like rytec EPG sources but probably will be good idea to do some validations from time to time and remove obsolete packages
As i am a developer as well i am interested everything to be perfect in it

I will remove them, but I will not push the modification.
It is not a problem if it is there. It just does not work.

Its ok. Solution @
The statement mentionned there are totally wrong:
- EPGimport still support both gz and xz
- EPGimport is still capable to download from server but there is no an additional check.
Please read:
https://forums.openp...es-explanation/
They just need to add nocheck="1" in there source file...

By the way the server currently know for the russian source are no longer responding, so if the server url has changed it would be nice if some russian people contact doglover and provide him with the latest valid URL to update the Russian sources.
