Is there a possibility to reset to factory settings when making settings in a plugin?

I've tried it twice now, but unfortunately does not work. If I uninstall the autotimer plugin, the entries in etc/enigma2/settings persist.

Steps are:
1. Connect in telnet to your box (see wiki for the howto on Mac) and type:
init 4
2. Edit the file with your text Editor: BBedit for exemple on Mac and remove the autotimer lines.
3. Go back to your telnet session and type:
init 3
Your setting are now cleaned up.

The file autotimer.xml contains only the existing autotimer and has nothing to do with the settings.So unfortunately I have to delete the config entries manually from the settings-file after uninstalling Autotimer and restarting Enigma.
of course ... uninstall plugin remove nothing from settings file. You must use what i wrote.
