zcache's Photo zcache 21 Jan 2019

Hi all,
I got this problem message show up after update to OpenPLI 7, no show on Open PLI 6.2 before.
What the script it's come from and how can I solve the message problem. Could you please check?

And that is the latest 7.0-release, and not an early 7.0-rc version?

Does it have an SD card plugged in? Correctly partitioned and formatted?

Fresh installed from 7.0 released and also latest updated with 20190121.

Yes, I inserted the micro sd-card and reformat with h5 box's already by initialize menu also convert partition to ext4 if I didn't wrong remember, same I have did with 6.2 after fresh installation.

Everything working fine no any problem with the micro sd-card, I can saved the time shift, schedule record and transfer files together with my laptop just uncommon message while the box booting up only.

New  stranger message discovered while making an update "No packages installed or removed", as picture attached. But look like it going normal after it's reboot.

The first bit there is the startup output of Enigma, the "No packages" is output from trying to do a software update but no updates exist.

No clue why you see that, the console redirection should be switched off long before that...

I don't have an H5 to test, so maybe someone else can comment? And do you have more H5 boxes, the "Remove peer h5" messages would suggest that?

No more other box, I will try reflash with new release again also remove the micro sd-card. I will post the result later.

It looks like it's going to boot from a FUSE file system? That could only be something like NTFS or exFAT? That's not going to work. Really weird.

I had tried to re-flash the box with newest released again (openpli-7.0-release-h5-20190121_usb.zip). The result exactly same with previous and if I pull out the microsd-card the message "bla..bla.. unknown operand" has gone. In other hand it's always showing up if the micro-sd-card inserted. I thought some where scripts not yet properly working. (Maybe many many next release problem solved)

Anybody have the box Zgemma h5 with latest version OpenPLi 7.0 please share your experience or please come to make an exchange the idea.

Thank you. :)

What exactly is on that SD-card?

I think the message means some script dectects the precence of the card, tries to enumerate the partitions on it ( mmcblk0p1 is the name of the first partition on the card ) but the card is not formatted, or formatted without partitions?

I upgraded to 7.0 version 20190121054719, I couldn't figure out how to post a thumbnail, but I get the same thing as in message #1, including the stuff about unknown operand and fuse file system. None of that seems to matter, though. It continues to boot and operate correctly. I have one ext4 partition on my mmc card, and it works properly as well.

sh: mmcblk0p1: unknown operand

This message come from file /etc/rcS.d/S04mdev -> ../init.d/mdev*

so, I think the script on /etc/mdev/mdev-mount.sh maybe have something not yet complete. Please check this as possible, thank you.
