Looking for  a working DOSCAM .ipk for OpenPLI 6 or 7.

 

The .ipk I have worked on V4, but does not on 6 or 7.

When I use Doscam with my legit card, no configs are required.  I just put it in the slot and forge about it.  I don't have to worry about anything...i.e entitlement updates.

Install libcrypto-compat package via telnet (present in 7.0 feed). This maybe fixes your problem.

I installed that package, restarted box, then restarted softcam, but it still doesn't work.

Doscam is a binary blob... hard to 'keep' it working...

Without any real error message we can’t help. And even with we cannot change the code as it’s a binary without source.

I'll try that.

 

Eeverybody says it's only drivers, but I think the picture quality on OpenPLI is the best.  I have tried most images on my Xtrend ET1000, but OpenPLI seems to have the best picture quality and also MUCH faster reboot times.

 

DOSCAM works fine for me on OpenVIX and OpenHDF.  Are either one of them based on OpenPLI 6 or 7?

What a b***cks, if you have a proper subscription card, the OpenPLi OScam also works "out of the box".

you may try it yourself, just delete all config file for oscam, it won´t be able to detect your card, oscam modern will detect you card no matter in which slot or even in Smargo or EasyMouse, the home board of oscam modern is newnigma2 board, I can´t give you the direct link,the board rules, @athoik will be mad at me

I don't think that's relevant. If you install Oscam and do absolutely nothing, you subscriber card will work. Only when you going through the trouble to actively remove or alter the configs, it won't work.

Only true for Canal Digitaal smartcards, all other cards require (at least) a modification or totally different config. Removing the complete config will stop every card from working! OScam without any config doesn't do diddly..

One of it latest commit 2015, the other one 2017... looks very ancient... when it does Some special cards soms ‘secret’ keys are inside....

Why all these forks of oscam instead of contributing to it.... and again I think it is a must you know where your oscam is build from - there could be wierd ‘secrets’ within all those binary blobs....

But I am a bit suspicous doscam brings more than only this feature. Something with illegal watching...

Sorry but this is not true, put a Viaccess card and you will unscramble nothing. Many card provider now requires extra configuration parameters that are not handled automatically by standard OScam and need to be set in the configuration: boxkey, deskey, aeskeys,...
