Hello! I would like to know if there's gonna be OpenPli support for the new Gigablue UHD Trio 4K which soon comes out.

I know there are already  OpenPli images for Gigablue UE 4K and UHD Quad 4K but what about this new model?

Regards

We haven't been asked by Gigablue afaik.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

It’s a “totally” different box. It has a hisilicon chipset.

So what they'r saying is that they're moving to HiSillicon too. That means on average interesting SoC features, but very basic STB features. We'll see.

Update. Yep. It's a budget receiver. Only two (fixed) tuners, no display and the same SoC as the hd60 and h9.

Oh these strange names. Of course a "Trio" box have two tuners

By the way, is it any cheap tripple T2-tuner box available on the market (i.e. with 3 tuners)?

3 tuners combined with "cheap". That's going to be a hard one I think.

Well Zgemma H7 is quite cheap. It have 3 tuners, but not of the same type!

Okay maybe not very cheap, however quite powerfull with H265, 4K, gigabit, internalHDD. ...but where is a tripple T2 with one F-connector. Maybe the market for terrest isn't so big. Most open STB's is satellite.

PS. A version of H7 with 3 S2 or 4 demod FBC would also be interesting, if low price.

I'd  suggest a recent second hand receiver in that case, with pluggable (or FBC) tuners.

No need to ask the same question multiple times.
