Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/lib/enigma2/python/mytest.py", line 210, in processDelay
    callback(*retval)
File "/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/MediaScanner/plugin.py", line 12, in execute
    scanner.open(files, session)
File "/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Components/Scanner.py", line 103, in open
  File "/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/MediaPlayer/plugin.py", line 1240, in movielist_open
    InfoBar.instance.showMovies(eServiceReference(stype, 0, f.path))
TypeError: showMoviesNew() takes at most 1 argument (2 given)

This problem occurs when I try to use the MediaScanner ... search my multimedia files ... I understand that the default player files video/audio used for this is MediaPlayer.

I have two options:

  •     view photos
  •     view movies ..-> when I enter this sequence I have a crash .... however in reproduction of media like photos there is no problem.

someone with this problem?

Given the fact MediaScanner hasn't been updated in 3 years, I think it means the MediaScanner has a dependency on other components, and these components have changed.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.
