Hi,

with openpli 6.2 or 7.0 I got sth. tune failed if I switch to another channel. At first I thought it´s my box, but with my old backup from merlin I didn´t got any problems regarding tune failed.

Do they use other drives?

Thanks

Dennis

Nothing has changed for the DM8000 in many, many years. We don't do anything for it anymore.

There is an OpenPLi for as long as it still builds. Chances are OpenPLi 7 will be the last one.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

I´ve found the problem, if I deactivate the epg refresh then I don´t have problems. The problem happened always after the epg refresh has been finished, do you know this behavior?

No, never used EPG refresh. Parhaps it doesn't release the tuner?

Box in deep standby waked-up to standby with wake-up timer and then run EPGRefresh in standby ?

There is no active development for any dreambox anymore, and there hasn't been for many years.

As long as it builds, it builds. We expect it to fail when we move to OpenPLi 8 (most likely based on OE Warrior).

OK ,Thanks for the information, but dinosaurs never die :) ... untill then i will enjoy my DM8000 every day,it just keeps on running and running, best picture quality even on big screens, never had any problem, and your images fit perfectly. the only reason for me to change is the moment when i will switch to 4K.

Same here :) DM8000 still running as the main unit handling the cards and acting as server in the home. When it dies it will be replaced by a 'fat' 4K receiver.
