you need to update feed and install python-e2icjson
opkg update opkg install python-e2icjson

But then you would have to put it in the pli banch before.
Generally, the e2iplayer pulls everything from their own feed.
But who knows what he has installed for an iptvplayer?

He didnt install from official source. If installed from there it works fine - of course you need to change settings appropriately so you can update from gitlab source.

Thx for all replies. Which would be the "official source" to get the *.ipk file for the e2iplayer? Maybe it would work to install once that "official" *.ipk, and then just unzip any newer *.ipk and override the installed files.

Funny, if people always know the unofficial sources, but must ask for official sources.
Something has to run there in your PC times really wrong ...
So what...
I only know this official source and of course the git I build it from.
