hello friends
I installed OpenPLi 7.0 firmware on qviart lumix and I also tried OpenPLi 7.1. Everything went well except openvpn.
ERROR Error: Cannot open TUN / TAP dev / dev / net / tons: No such device (errno = 19). He will assign the rights 600 to 660 and still does not read it. Similarly, lib modules 4.2.1 on \lib\modules\4.2.1\kernel\drivers\net\ a mistake tun.ko. Would anyone know what to do?
Thank you very much

No problems here with 7.0-release, haven't tried 7.1-rc yet.

Does /dev/tun exist?

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

What does "modprobe tun" tell you?

I have on my box:

root@h3:/# find . -xdev -name "tun*"
./lib/modules/4.10.12/kernel/drivers/net/tun.ko

if you don't have that, are you sure the module is installed?

root@h3:/# opkg list-installed | grep module-tun
kernel-module-tun-4.10.12 - 4.10.12-.2.1

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

From what I understand the user has done that.

It could well be that Qviart hasn't enabled CONFIG_TUN in the kernel defconfig, in which case the tun driver isn't compiled. It wouldn't be the first.

I checked the Qviart BSP:

./meta-qviart/recipes-bsp/linux/linux-qviart-3.14.28/defconfig:CONFIG_TUN=m
./meta-qviart/recipes-bsp/linux/linux-qviart-4.1.20/defconfig:CONFIG_TUN=m
./meta-qviart/recipes-bsp/linux/linux-qviart-4.2.1/defconfig:CONFIG_TUN=m

so enabled, as a module, in all kernel versions.

As written above in post #14, nothing wrong with the Qviart kernel config.

Please reply to my post #9, instead of just quoting it.
