I am the owner of Formuler F4 turbo.
I installed openvpn
opkg update
opkg list | grep vpn
opkg install openvpn

Everything works perfectly.

I'm going to buy zgemma h9s, but there's a different processor (zgemma-arm / formuler-mips).

Will openvpn work for zgemma h9s?

I mean the classic CLI installation as for formuler

opkg update
opkg list | grep vpn
opkg install openvpn

thx

All packages we provide in the feeds are build from source, and available for all CPU architectures.

The only exception are binary packages in the third-party feed, but if such a package is not available for your architecture, you'll get a non-found error when you try to install it.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.
