When opening the Rytec Channels file from link in this thread:

https://forums.openp...-channels-file/

Excel kicks up an error with the following:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?>
<recoveryLog xmlns="http://schemas.openxmlformats.org/spreadsheetml/2006/main"><logFileName>error945600_01.xml</logFileName><summary>Errors were detected in file 'C:\Users\User\Downloads\!Satellite\Rytec channels file\rytec.channels.xlsx'</summary><additionalInfo><info>Excel completed file level validation and repair. Some parts of this workbook may have been repaired or discarded.</info></additionalInfo><removedRecords><removedRecord>Removed Records: Named range from /xl/workbook.xml part (Workbook)</removedRecord></removedRecords></recoveryLog>

Is it possible it can be modified to work without a problem?

Thanks in advance

Only problem.  I do not how to resolve this.

I am using LibreOffice, and save the file as Excel file.  (version 2007 - 2013 XML (xlsx)

I will attach a version stored as older xls format and as newer xlsm format.  Let me know which opens.

The xlsm file also had an issue with the named range. Are you sure the definition is not in another file?

Removed Records: Named range from /xl/workbook.xml part (Workbook)

The pre-2013 file (xls) opened fine. But its is massive.

On the Blad 2 sheet

OK..

Blad2 and Blad 3 are to be ignored.  They are only used for storing things I wanted to remove, but not wanted to delete immediately.

I have removed all Named ranges.  Do not know where they came from.  I do not use them anyway.

Empty cells on service ref and EPGref can exist.  Indicating things I do not know.

So new files attached.

Many thanks. Both xlsx and xlsm files opened without a problem

OK.  I do not know where that named range came from.

Removing them seemed to solve the problem.
