Hello, I have a problem with the T-Link TL - WN725N WIFI card. VU + Zero can't see her at all. What to do?

There are several versions of this stick, with different chipsets. Which one is it exactly?

Also, please do an "lsusb" on the commandline with the stick plugged in so I can see the USB ID. If a chipset is supported, it doesn't mean the USB ID is...

On the box you need to login with telnet or ssh.

You can also plug it into a Windows PC, and use the device manager to look it up: https://superuser.co...or-a-usb-device

Menu - Plugins - Software management.

then Advanced options, Packet management, wait for the list to load, press the "5" twice to jump down to "kernel-module-r8188eu", then press "Ok" to install it. Repeat the process for "firmware-rtl8188eu".

When done, restart the box.

Everything installed. Unfortunately, the card cannot see any wireless network. The computer is working properly. The system is the latest OpenPLi 7.2 RC

So the driver loads, and you see a WLAN interface?

Did you also install the firmware package?

As you ordered. Both installed. By entering the menu - settings - system - advanced settings - network - WLAN connection is visible but when scanning the network, it cannot see any wireless network.

Ok, so the driver loads, and it sees the stick. We can't do anything more I'm afraid, the rest is your local environment.

The problem is solved. The second package was installed along with the first one, and I uninstalled it without paying any attention. Only after, one time I saw where the error was and everything started as it should. Thank you very much for the memory, which was invaluable and exemplary. Best wishes and have a nice Sunday.
