The PLi images display a 24 hour time format.
What file(s) could I change or edit to have the time displayed in 12 hour (AM, PM) format?

IanSav did some great work to allow selection of time format on ViX. Adding that would be best thing to do. But needs some very minor skin adjustments to allow user choice
Until then, you will have to edit the the skin where it defines the layout.

Thanks for the information!
I was hoping there was a string that could be edited in a file somewhere instead of editing the skins.

Is also a string that must be edited? 
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

It is more work than you expect.. and they way I saw the last time at vix was terrible.... then also skins can and will include formats which makes it actually to do this right without dirty hacks undoable.
