Autotimer in OpemWebif not working

's foto martininhio 31 aug 2020

I just flashed a VU+ Uno 4k se with OpenPLi 7.3

Now autotimer is not working in OpenWebif.

When I click on the link nothing happens.

The autoitimer plugin is working. When configured from within OpenPLi using my remote on the TV, the requested programs are automaticaly added to the timer list.

When I switch OpenWebif to the old layout, autotimer does work in OpenWebif.

So only the new interface is giving issues.

Just did a  "opkg update && opkg upgrade" and everything is up to date.

What could this be?

Probably better to report this to the OpenWebIf guys: https://github.com/E...penWebif/issues

Sorry.. should have mentioned that I already asked the OpenWebif guys...

Looks it's maybe related to an old OpenWebif version? Don't know exactly what to make of it.

I've responded there.

press the refresh button on the bottom of the web interface after a minute of so, the autotimer data should appear then.

Thanks for the response.

So there is nothing I can do to fix this? Have to wait for a new version of OpenWebif in PLI7.3?

I don't have a refreah button on the bottom of the web interface?

if you're in autotimer webinterface, they there are some buttons at the bottom (save, delete, etc ....) one of these has 2 arrows on it, this is the refresh (or reload) button. I'd give you a screenshot but I'm not at home so .....

In the new design interface the buttons are at the top as well, but there it is also called "reload".

I don't have any box running 7.3 release at the moment, so I can't test it myself.

But the biggest problem is that the entire link is not working.

When I click autotimer, nothing happens (with the new style gui).

So there is also no refresh or reload button from the autotimer window.

Same here too.

I've got the same issue with newest 1.3.9 OpenWebif on VTi Image as well as on latest OpenPLI 7.3

So it is definitely an OpenWebif issue.

We can't update OpenWebIf, it is pinned on the last commit that is still compatible with the OE used on OpenPLi 7.

So we can only wait on development now to implement a new OpenWebif version?

There won't be any OWIF updates until the release of 8.0, correct.

If autotimer is that important, switch back to the classic interface for now.

Ok, thanks for the info.

Does anyone know a release date for 8.0

No.

Biggest show-stopper at the moment is Kodi, which crashes on some boxes.
