Hi,

At time the dvblast tool is available in OpenPli. And the good tools dvbsnoop and astra-sm too.

However, other "basic" DVB tools are missing, specially dvbstream and mumudvb. Without these two tools is quite difficult to make a simple streaming from a tuner in the command line (mainly for testing).

So, please can you include these two tools?

Thank you!

If you can point to a bitbake recipe and the source code for these tools, we can have a look...

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.

Absolutely something we would like to have and include in the feeds, but then someone will have to make the effort.

If they're in OE it should not be a problem to build them ;)

They're not in the mainstream "zeus" OE, maybe in newer releases or in additional sources:

eos erik:~/src/pli/oe/develop $ fgrep -r mumudvb openembedded-core meta-openembedded
[1]    1383850 exit 1     fgrep --color=auto -r mumudvb openembedded-core meta-openembedded
eos erik:~/src/pli/oe/develop $ fgrep -r dvbstream openembedded-core meta-openembedded
[1]    1383853 exit 1     fgrep --color=auto -r dvbstream openembedded-core meta-openembedded

In any case, if there is a (correct) recipe, we can incorporate it.
