Hi,

Can "CI Operation Mode" be added in Common Interface menu like openvision and other openimages?

(now nothing can be selected after installing ciplus plugin)

openvision Ci.py file differs little from that of openpli

Only when there is an opensource solution where you have to add you own certificates…. So when the certificates are nog included within a binary (illegal) blob….

In OpenVIsion you get the question when "/etc/ssl/certs/customer.pem" is available, so it is an external certificate.

I don't see any further support for CI+ in the OpenVision image...

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Maybe we need to wait for a merge request… sounds like only the ui is ready in openvision?

OpenVision this part of CI+ is not as good as you think. Just for info.

Images that have an option to select CI operation mode,

CI+ part works on some boxes after installing a ciplus plugin like:

Having the certificates in the ipk is not done…. This is what the user should do…

This is why that is illegal, and not in our feeds.

I see CI+ support at the same level as the softcam. Nothing illegal with what we provide, and we are not responsible for what the user does with it.
