Today I am install this image on my osmio4k just to see how it works but I have some problems. When i installed udpxy and ran it it didn't work, also oscam from feed doesn't work (starts but no picture) Then I replaced oscam with another version and it works without problems, on kodi you can't install the last widevine . This is some things I use and I have noticed that they do not work in develop image.

As to kodi, there is a kodi thread in "Third party development", perhaps you can mention it there, we don't maintain kodi ourselfs.

If you freshly install it (without restoring a backup), it is logical that oscam doesn't immediately works because it needs to be configured first?

Where are placed your OScam configuration files? At build time it is possible to change this default location so may be you use an OScam which use an alternative path.

The default location for OpenPLI is:  /etc/tuxbox/config/oscam/

I know all off this stuff. This is not my first time to run oscam.I was curious and I'm freshly install openvix just to see how oscam works in this image.Just the same problem, oscam don't start.looks like that oscam-11693 version have a problem with edision osmio4k,then I am replace the file with oscam-11691 and start without problem.

Also when i install udpxy with this command opkg install udpxy and when I run it don't start. Then I am replace start script in init.d folder and rc3d-reboot and works fine.Looks like something is wrong with this script.

If you have a script that works, and one that doesn't, first question is, what is the diff?

Also, if oscam doesn't start, what are the error messages?

It is difficult to fix something if all we have to go on is "it doesn't work".... ;)

About udpxy,I just flash this image again and install udpxy and when I setup port(I have port:8088)reboot and udpxy not start. Then I rename udpxy.sh file in init.d folder to udpxy, delete old symlink udpxy.sh and put in this file and udpxy work just fine.

Oscam oscam-11693 don't work at all but oscam-11691 works fine.

I don't know why but  it's a fact.

Good

Posted 14 July 2021 - 20:32

start-stop-daemon -S -b -n udpxy -a /usr/bin/udpxy -- -p 8088

basicly it was

start-stop-daemon -S -b -n udpxy -a /usr/bin/udpxy -- -p 4022

Where are your logs from the Oscam?
And what are your presett from Oscam?

Without such information, it is of little use if you just say 'doesn't work'

As I already wrote, I also first edited the udpxy.sh file for the port as I use it (8088) but even after that the udpxy didn't start. My channels look like this:

http://127.0.0.1:8088/udp/132.4.8.8:4002

For oscam, I would ask if anyone else has edision osmio4k to let me know if this last oscam works for him. I'm almost sure not.

Thanks for all the answers, I'm back to openpli 8.0 now.

Not without more information.

When? What are you doing at that moment? Playing what? Stream or DVB? CI or smartcard? Which softcam? Which plugins installed?

If you have a subscription, you know if you have a smartcard or a CI module.

It smells a bit like an illegal subscription and a clone box (never heard of a VU Solo+). If you mean VU+ Solo, it is a very old box, which might have power supply or other electronic issues.

@sanderg29.

As I suspect you are Dutch, why don’t you place your request in the Dutch section? That might be easier for you. Unless you use the Nightly build / Develop image.
