This is a completely different problem and it has been fixed.

I will can add a new function to it, to supply power to the LNB in standby mode, only if at least one tuner is active.

And turn off the power if all the tuner is idle.

It would be nice to keep the root enabled as long a leave is in use…. Especially when the drivers ‘bug’ it….

I don't think it was a driver error. It was a bug in the E2 code. I think I fixed it https://github.com/O...09b6e2adb38R750

Not close root tuner when linked tuners used.

Maybe you are right.

It's hard for me to talk about drivers because I've never seen their code (their logic).

Does this plugin do the same as setting the option

config.tunermisc.forceLnbPower=True

in OpenATV?
 

 

Who should use the plugin? Is there any documentation available for it?

When "Force LNB power" set Yes -->there is always voltage on the LNB, even if the FBC root tuner(s) is not used

Telnet:

cat /proc/stb/frontend/fbc/force_lnbon
