My PLI develop. updates overnight sometimes to 8.1 . Also, after 2 hours, the program indicates that it turns itself off due to inactivity. Is that my fault?

If you have set a sleep timer (in the standby menu), then yes. Alternatively, if you have set a timer with standby as "after" action.
Otherwise I don't think there are options to put the box in standby. There is no inactivity timer.
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Most modern TV also include such inactivity timer, so the message can also came from the TV itself.
