the problem is in util.cpp
#define FIRST_REASONABLE_TIME 1078415416
#define LAST_REASONABLE_TIME 1236181816
bool checkSensibleSystemTime( void )
{
time_t now = getCurrentTime();
return (
( now > FIRST_REASONABLE_TIME ) &&
( now < LAST_REASONABLE_TIME )
);
}
LAST_REASONABLE_TIME is 4.3.2009, so it doesn't work after this date.
There' a Fix for MV 3.5.3 available at www.i-have-a-dreambox.com, which works fine with CVS-Images, Nabilost and Gemini but not with PLI-images.

Here by the fix from "I-have-a-dreambox"forum
Ps. the fix doesn't work for me, i use PLi Jade with HD600 PVR so I hope that some of the developers could patch this so that I can use it with version 3.5.2 with is in PLi Jade.
The fix was made for 3.5.3 wich I ask in another tread could be implemented in PLi Jade

swq - Thanks for this
I tried it on my DM7000 and it works! except... Did you by any chance get the codes for the help botton and the exit (lame) button the wrong way round?
On the main screen if I press exit I get the help and If I press help it exits.
Maybe this is a DM500/DM7000 thing?
Anyway I'm not complaining. At least I have a working guide
Thanks again
