First install software-management from the feed if not present.
I noticed this with some other models too.

You don't need software management to install plugins?

plugins cannot be loaded gives an error. Is openpli develop not tested?

What error is shown? Do you have an active internet-connection on your box?

You don't need software management to install plugins?

My bad. I didn’t notice the exact report.

As far I remember we did retire the software management plug-in as it is not needed anymore and had no real added value.

as far I can zee the feeds to download plug-ins are there…

The only possibly relevant part of that plugin is the option to install or remove any package from the feed (package management in advanced), for those that can't deal with a commandline.

Ideally, if that code could be moved to the current plugins code (there are still 2 colour buttons available), it could be retired. Currently it is still in the feed but no longer preinstalled.

Why would you need plugins for that?

It is not removed, it is only not installed by default. If you want it, simply install it.

Why do you need it in the first place? What is your real need? As far I know it does not have any real added value anymore… maybe we can better help you with Explaining a how to do what you want… unless this the plugin is still on our feeds, but stuff that might interfere with autoinstall, autobackup and flash. Image stuff etc. might be removed from it…

It has not been removed from the feed, just from the default image.

And the only feature it has that is still relevant is op be able to install any package from the feed without having to use the commandlne (package management).
