Incorrect EPG title containing xml data

's foto 03397 19 aug 2023

For sometime now I am getting in EPG, data containing xml tags. The summary of EPG is correct, it is just the headers. See below, This is happening in Greek Channels on 39.0 East.

Can anyone shed some light?

Indeed.

A case of grabber maintenance needed.

Fixed.

PS:  The complete GR EPG has to be regrabbed.  So be patient.

Also the actors are missing.  Fixed this too.

They will appear in any new grabbed content.  (First 6 days will be the old grab)

Thanks doglover.

Do I need to to update anything or this is a matter on your end?

You do not to do anything.
Only delete all EPG in your receiver when you import next time.
This to eliminate all the faulty EPG.

Doglover I just wanted to let you know that I am still getting the same incorrect grabbed data.

It seemed that for a few days the problem was not there but it reappeared again.

Same channels?

It seems that is irrelevant of the channel but rather relevant with the TV show.

Sorry.

I cannot find anything in the xmltv files.

No <x>

No </x>

No EPG_IMPORT.

If you want to see this for yourself download:

http://www.xmltvepg....ytecGR_Basic.xz

and

http://www.xmltvepg...._SportMovies.xz

Unzip and check,

I can only recommend you to erase all your EPG data in your receiver, and import again.  There is an option in EPGimport to achieve this.
