Thank you ... however saving a bouquet via the web-interface leads to odd results

OpenPLI ->

In Topic: OSMini V8.3 boot loop after crash?

11 March 2023 - 14:39

Help will not be possible without a crashlog.
You always get a crash log.

You can stop the box with known telnet commands

init 4

then copy the crashlog via ftp
and let it start once logged

enigma2

then copy the new crashlog.

https://wiki.openpli...ions#Crash_logs
Attach here as a log.

This is all more of a baseline for troubleshooting.

The reason for the crash will be a plugin that you have not mentioned here yet.

There was no access to the receiver since it's stuck in a boot loop

Can you make a photo of the green screen

Hello,

It was just a blank green screen with a spinner spinning for a couple of seconds then reverting to the initial OpenPLI boot logo screen.

Have a look at my other post, I moved on but had some issue re-flashing

In Topic: OSMini V8.3 boot loop after crash?

I've found a not too old AutoBackUp and re-flashed the receiver with the latest 8.3 USB-Image.

At the end of the usb-flash (the part where the receiver should  reboot)  I've got a blue screen with the receiver displaying 'BOOT' and was stuck there.

I've powered off/on and the receiver would loop again (as described in my initial post)

I then tried flashing an older 8.3 image ... same result.

I then flashed the latest 7.3 and that worked as it should.

That's interesting .. any thoughts?

In Topic: Hisilicon Hi3798MV200 / SF8008 'SlowMo' effect ...

OK, thank you .. it might be a personal preference but I just didn't like effect. I like a hard cut-over when switching channels.

So 'hold to screen' might be an option .. thanks!

On that note I've noticed that with the SF8008 I didn't have all the video adjustments I have with my OSMini,

By that I especially mean 'Scaler Sharpness' missing from the SF8008.

I always found that the OSMini had a slightly crisper and overall better picture but was unable to tune the SF8008 to my liking.

Cheers for the input! :)
