Sounds we need to add an option for the fallback tuner in case we have an active tuner in a client box. Makes a big sense!!! Please send me an reminder when I do not implement it somewhere next week.

Regarding the wrong skinning it could be that oe-a uses a modified version from partnerbox… and then it is not easy to adjust.

I recommend not to try it on a VU+ solo2... I think it is smarter trying a device that is capable of correctly running Kodi.

@Dany... can you please offer the screens you adapt here... instead of giving a modified skin code.... Then Dimitar can consider to take them over more easily...

 

For that events info menu I think it is better to show one info above the selection list and one below... instead of making it wide....

This is what I see now in SystemInfo.py

It seems for VU it is not limited to 1/4 of a screen but on 540x432.... full size is here 720x576!!! And I see exceptions for some boxes but I already know there are more boxes that need limitations....  I'm afraid we need at least change the 540 432 to 720 576... (it is based on SD resolution as kind of overlay). Somehow this was 'never' maintained....

Sounds the restriction may be removed... but before we need good testing on all the boxes...But is your output 4K in these cases?

It would be nice as it makes it also possible to create a kind of spectrum analyzer that could ‘replace’ blindscan. But it needs a better research and also enabling/disabling via eg an enigma2 config at the tuner level and add enable it when we have a tuner that can do it… and/or (in combination) with checks and a value in SystemInfo/BoxInfo as feature, but as it is tuner bounded this is also not easy. Instead of just setting things hardcoded to true. So as in the state it is now it is not good yet.

When it has a direct pathway to the tuner we may also be able to add finetune in BER…. Something I made long time ago for ancient dreambox 7000…. What low signals still could be tuned by tweaking tuner parameters on BER results.

Try the <> buttons next to the 0 or try stepskip with 1,4,7 for backwards or 3,6,9 for forward steps in 15 sec, 1 min, 5 min steps.

You need to fully ensure the CI does not get any requests when changing to other channels....
