Not without you posting that crash log...

Everything should be fixed now.

#1617881 error self building 9.0-release

I've setup a temporary repo to work around the problem.

Build is still not running, this time someone has deleted the oscam-emu repo... :(

It looks like a mistake.

The build recipe was deleted in the kirkstone development branch, and appearently the developers decided because of that the repo wasn't needed anymore. Without realizing it was also used in develop and 9.0-release.

We're aware of that.

I'm awaiting the response off the repo owner on why the repo was deleted, before we take action.

Download it, put it on a USB stick, plug it in, you will be prompted to install it.

#1616545 [WIP] PLi-DarkOS Skin

Posted by WanWizard on 7 April 2024 - 12:46

No,

At least not here. In the timer screen, the default for "Fallback Timer" is "No" (or red in your case). The default only changes if I disable all tuners in the box.

It is quite annoying, as it sometimes goes wrong, and most of my boxes don't have the network bandwidth to record, so all those local timers will fail.

#1616517 İNVERTO UNİCABLE 2 32 FREKANS LNB TUNER AYARLARINI YAPAMADIM

Posted by WanWizard on 7 April 2024 - 11:50

In static mode Userbands are hardcoded to a specific frequency and polarisation, as you can see in the screenshot.

You need to switch the LNB to dynamic mode, which the receiver requires. You can with a lot of effort configure the 32 static transponders currently configured, but you will not have access to any other transponder, so it is a bad idea.

#1616145 From standalone to (kinda) central-terminal setting

Posted by WanWizard on 5 April 2024 - 14:12

There is no real fixed order.

It starts with /usr/lib/enigma2/picon and /picon, and after that it enumerates are mount points with a compatible filesystem, and checks those in the order found.

#1616021 Enigma2 and BBC/ITV at 27.5W Intelsat - a big challenge

Posted by WanWizard on 4 April 2024 - 18:52

Same here in the Azores. 27.5 W signal gone. I wonder if bbc have changed the biss codes at long last?

Please (everyone), watch your terminology.

Changing BISS codes doesn't alter the signal. If you get a transponder lock without BER, the signal is fine.

Whether or not you can (still) decrypt it is of course a different matter.

#1615801 Youtube in OpenPli 9.0

As one developer once said to me: "I wish you lots of users".... :P :D

Ik heb nog nooit van mijn leven een full backup nodig gehad. Ik zie er dan ook het nut niet zo van in.

#1614169 How well is GigaBlue UHD UE 4K Cable supported?

Posted by WanWizard on 28 March 2024 - 18:11

Those were all Broadcom based boxes, and Broadcom doesn't make any chipsets for the OEM market anymore (they were bought off by the media industry in 2021), so don't expect any new hardware to come to market.

#1613358 Question on development

Posted by WanWizard on 24 March 2024 - 20:34

The current plan is (subject to change) is to create a 9.1-release from the current develop, then promote Kirkstone to develop, which will then become OpenPLi 10 in due time.

Whatever python version is running is not very relevant, not for users, and if you are a developer and you code for specific minor versions of Python, you're doing it wrong.

#1613238 Question on development

Posted by WanWizard on 24 March 2024 - 13:50

Kirkstone builds are being tested, but are not publicly available for download, they are only available for developers.

( if that is not the case, something is wrong and needs to be fixed )
