#824162 OpenPLi 6.1 » Stable release

Geplaatst door mattiL aan 6 januari 2018 - 15:52

Hmm, done a backup and tries to run restore (a new firmware will be loaded..), now I have an informational text telling me

"You need a PC connected to your receiver. If you need further instructions..."

I'm aborting this, going back to USB..  ;)

Edit:

Ok, I found something new called "Flash image" in System settings, seems to be more suitable.

#786581 6.0 Stable Release

Geplaatst door mattiL aan 23 oktober 2017 - 17:48

It is all so strange that it is necessary to flash 2 times in succession to have a normal functioning, no ?

I thus hesitate to make this new update.

Could you tell us if it will be corrected in next update ?

You do not need to FLASH twice, just flash once followed by a restart and then an update of software via Settings.

Well, I re-flashed today without problems, Autobackup took care of restoring all settings.

#441959 VUSolo 2 streamproxy authentication bug (user/password)

Geplaatst door mattiL aan 3 september 2014 - 11:46

No, you do not want your stb (receiver) to act as a VPN server, either install VPN server on your internet router if it supports it, or use a pc on the local network as your VPN server.

The stb is not suited for acting as a VPN server.

#403349 Impossible to mount NAS Server on my DM8000HD

Geplaatst door mattiL aan 1 februari 2014 - 20:34

With OpenPLi 4, todays build, mounting the NAS with NFS no longer works, I get error

mount.nfs: an incorrect mount option was specified
mount: mounting 192.168.1.9:/volume1/VuVideo on /media/nas failed: Connection refused

I found that adding the option -o nolock made mounting NFS work again, the reason for this is

apparently that package (command) portmap is missing. https://forum.openwr...ic.php?id=36263

I am unable to find portmap with 'opkg list'.
