Having a small problem with my recordings on my Vu+ Duo 4K SE, I installed a new Openpli 9 image without restoring my old settings.

I then discovered that the Media Player did not appear as before.

Before, I had the list of films in columns on the right and left at the top an image of the current broadcast and at the bottom, a summary of the recording to which I was pointing in the right column.

Now the left column shows me the list of records.

The right column the Playlist.

If I add the contents of the left column to the Playlist, all the recordings are displayed without taking into account the subdirectories that I created to classify my recordings.

This arrangement does not suit me at all and even less so for my wife (a soap opera fanatic)

I reinstalled the backup which was made last night by Automatic Full Backup.

Now the Media Player no longer works at all. The wheel keeps turning...

I tested the previous backup, same result.

I have no green screen or crash log.

What can I do to correct this.

Thanks for any help

I see this when I start it, and afaik it hasn't changed for many years, media player isn't really maintained anymore.

Are you sure you weren't using a different player before?

No, Openpli since version 3 and before VTI but it was a really long time ago on my first Vu+ Duo.

If I manage to get it displayed as before, I'll post a screenshot.

Sorry but I don't know what I should do.

I'm not a Linux whiz just a user who has a few years of using STBs.

Dimitri means that he proposed a patch that will be available in the develop image.

So if you want to test you will need to switch to the develop image.

Hi

Added the channel list to the right side and removed the USB.
Now the list on the right doesn't play without USB.
what is the reason

You are absolutely right. In fact I never used the 'Media Player' button.

With 'Hotkey', I assigned the 'Long Red' key to 'Show films' and I put in PJ the screen which was always displayed on my Vu+ hence my error.

On the other hand, the 'Media Player' no longer works, it no longer displays the Popup window at the end of the film to ask me for confirmation that I want to close it.

My apologies. :thumbs-up:
