Hi,

lately I‘m having a strange problem with EPG data for some IPTV Events channels.
I know from my source (and from openatv) there is EPG for some kind of channels, however in OpenPLi it‘s not visible. When switching to openatv I start the EPG Importer and voila, everything is there.

I use OpenPLi 9 and tried it with FullNight Skin and DarkOS skin.

Is there a setting how to turn on EPG which appears when on certain channels something is on?As I said, only iptv event channels are affected.

Thnx

Assuming you are talking about bouquet entries for IPTV channels, whether or not you get EPG depends on the fake service reference that is assigned to those channels.

If the fake sref is taken from the broadcasted sat or cable channel, it wil use the same EPG (so you can use OTA received EPG). If it was generated, you need a mapping for the EPG importer. The plugin you use for generating the bouquets should also generate the mapping. And obviously your IPTV provider should provide the EPG (which is often not working).

So:

  • did you install the EPG importer?
  • is it configured to run automatically?
  • is the mapping generated by the plugin, and visible in the EPG importer under the sources button?
  • and if so, is it checked?
  • and if so, if you navigate to it and press Yellow to "import current source", does it import?

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.
