If you have a USB disk, it is mounted on /media/usb.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

What do you mean with "active"?

If you want timeshift to automatically start after each zap, you need to configure that too.

Menu - Setup - System - GUI Settings - "Automatically start timeshift after".

Active means now if I save the recording path, it gets saved.

The screenshot indicates the timeshift will be recoded at the root which is flash and this is quickly full and will cause errors due to a full flash.
When the drive is not writable it is likely corrupted. Please solve the corrupted stuff or reformat is.
